My journey in hairdressing spans over 30 years, shaped by long days of learning, listening and working with my hands and by a deep love for one on one connection with my clients.

Later, life asked me to step away to raise my three beautiful children, to grow, to soften, to see care differently.

When I felt ready to return, I knew I wanted something more. A shift away from general hairdressing and toward work that felt slower, more intentional.

I had always been drawn to massage and to the indulgent calm of spas from personal experience. I knew how powerful they can be in helping us unwind from the weight of everyday life.

As head spas began to emerge, curiosity turned into research, and research into vision. That is when Shibui was born.
